Oakwood Soccer Club’s Pre-MLS Next teams serve as the gateway to our elite MLS Next program. Designed for younger players who have graduated from our Youth Training League (YTL) program, these teams are the first step into competitive team play and are integral to preparing players for the challenges of MLS Next competition.

Our Pre-MLS Next teams are dedicated to developing young players who aspire to join our MLS Next teams in the future. These teams compete in the North East Academy League (NEAL) conference of the National Academy League (NAL), offering a competitive environment where players can hone their skills and understanding of the game. Our coaching staff follows the same development philosophies and methodologies as our MLS Next teams, ensuring that players are on the right path to success.
