What inspired you to become a coach, and how does this passion align with our mission?
Growing up at Oakwood with great coaches, sweeping the floors and listening to the coaches talk soccer, about players and about life in general. Rick and Dave always put soccer first, Tommy D’Agostino, Bob Wasserman people that coached and mentored myself and many others including my younger brother. I was fortunate to play for Coach Reid who gave me an opportunity and Tom Poitras who took a chance on me as a player (and as his assistant) and gave me several ‘second chances’ while teaching me about the game and becoming a man.
