Girls Academy
Oakwood Soccer Club’s Girls Academy stands as the flagship of our girls' soccer program, where our top-tier teams and players are driven by a commitment to excellence. Each player is encouraged to push beyond their limits, striving to grow and improve daily. As they compete at the highest levels, they exemplify dedication, resilience, teamwork, and respect—core values that define our club’s culture.
Girl’s Pre-Academy
The Pre-Girls Academy (Pre-GA) at Oakwood Soccer Club is designed for young female athletes who have graduated from our Youth Training League (YTL) Program and are ready to take the next step into competitive team play. These teams serve as the critical developmental stage before players are eligible to join our prestigious Girls Academy, which begins at U13.
Girl’s Pre-Academy
Oakwood Soccer Club's EDP Teams serve as the club’s second-tier teams across all age groups, from U8 through U19. These teams are designed for players who are highly committed to their soccer development but have not been selected for the Pre-Girls Academy (Pre-GA) or Girls Academy (GA) rosters. The EDP Teams provide an essential competitive platform within our club, ensuring that all players have the opportunity to grow and succeed in a challenging environment.
Girls YTL
The Oakwood Soccer Club is excited to introduce the Youth Training League (YTL), a unique soccer experience designed for young players as their first step into the beautiful game. Powered by Monaco Ford, this program is specifically crafted for boys and girls of select ages to develop fundamental soccer skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Our YTL program focuses on small-sided games (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) to ensure that every player gets maximum touches on the ball, enhancing their involvement and enjoyment. Unlike traditional recreational soccer, where teams might play 6v6 or 8v8, the smaller teams in YTL provide a greater opportunity for each child to participate and learn.
Girls Tryouts
Please note this includes interest for all our Oakwood teams, including Boys MLS Next, Girls Academy and the newly formed Boys NEAL and Girls National Academy League U13-U19 teams ahead of the 2024/25 season.
***This form should be completed by anyone interested in attending: winter training sessions, winter ID events and spring tryouts.
