Oakwood Soccer Club's Pre-Girls Academy
The Pre-Girls Academy (Pre-GA) at Oakwood Soccer Club is designed for young female athletes who have graduated from our Youth Training League (YTL) Program and are ready to take the next step into competitive team play. These teams serve as the critical developmental stage before players are eligible to join our prestigious Girls Academy, which begins at U13.

At Oakwood, our Pre-GA teams are more than just an introduction to competitive soccer; they are the foundation of our commitment to excellence. These teams participate in the EDP League system, providing a challenging and competitive environment where players can grow their skills, understanding of the game, and love for soccer. Just like our Girls Academy teams, Pre-GA players are immersed in a culture of dedication, teamwork, resilience, and respect.
A Seamless Pathway to the Girls Academy
The Pre-GA program is designed with the same coaching and development philosophies that define our Girls Academy. Our goal is to ensure that every player is fully prepared, both technically and mentally, for the transition to the Girls Academy when they reach the appropriate age group. By fostering an environment of consistent, high-level training and competition, we aim to develop players who are ready to thrive in the Girls Academy and beyond.

In the Pre-GA program, we focus not only on the technical and tactical aspects of the game but also on the holistic development of each player. We believe in nurturing the complete athlete—helping them grow as individuals, teammates, and leaders on and off the field. This approach ensures that our players are not only prepared for the challenges of higher-level soccer but also equipped with life skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives.
